Follow a single load from the booking to the money in the bank. Nothing along the way is typed twice.

    Vehicle, driver, route, load and the agreed rate, chosen from your own lists. The reference number is generated for you.

What is TruckAgent?

TruckAgent is fleet management software for South African trucking and cross-border transport companies. It brings the trip log, fuel and cost logs, AI document capture, fleet maintenance, compliance tracking, live tracking and invoicing into one connected system, so information entered once flows everywhere it is needed.

Is TruckAgent a tracking system or fleet management software?

It is fleet management software: it runs the business side of the fleet, from the trip and its fuel to the service plan, the permits and the invoice. On the Professional and Premium plans it also shows the fleet on a live map, using the drivers' phones until a tracking provider's feed is connected, so you do not need to buy a tracking device to start.

Who is TruckAgent for?

Road transport and logistics companies running trucks in South Africa and across the borders into Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, Eswatini and Lesotho. It is built around how those loads actually work: border paperwork, costs in several currencies, and drivers who are on the road rather than at a desk.

Does TruckAgent work on mobile as well as the web?

Yes. The office runs TruckAgent in any browser, on a computer or a phone, and drivers capture slips and delivery notes from their phone's browser today. Dedicated iPhone and Android apps are on the way, and they are included on every plan.

How does the AI document capture work?

A driver photographs a fuel slip, delivery note or invoice and the system reads the key figures from the image. The capture goes into a review queue where the office confirms it before it is filed, so the numbers reach the books without being typed twice, and nothing is posted until a person has checked it.

Can TruckAgent forecast maintenance and tyre replacement?

Yes. Maintenance runs on distance-based service intervals as well as dates, and each tyre's fitment mileage and expected life are recorded so the system forecasts when it will need replacing. A maintenance budget report shows what the fleet will need to spend on next, by vehicle, before it becomes a breakdown.

Does it produce invoices and exports?

Yes. TruckAgent generates branded PDF tax invoices from completed trips and exports every log — trips, fuel, costs, invoices, compliance and maintenance — to Excel, so moving accountants or answering an audit does not mean rebuilding the data by hand.

How is each company's data kept separate and secure?

TruckAgent is multi-tenant: every company's data is isolated by database row-level security, so one operator can never see another's trips, costs or clients. Access inside a company is scoped by role, and privileged fields like a user's role are locked so no one can escalate their own access.

What does TruckAgent cost?

TruckAgent is a monthly subscription in rand, VAT included: Starter is R599 for up to 5 vehicles, Professional is R1 499 for up to 20 vehicles, Premium is R2 999 for up to 50 vehicles. Drivers never count towards a plan, and every plan starts with a free 30-day trial, no card needed.
